Vocalist Joe Keogh explains; “Higher and higher is a track from our childhood. We’ve heard it in so many forms and we really wanted to have a go at it as well. It was a real challenge to take a song we, and many others, know so well and attempt to make it our own. I really hope we did it some justice.”

Amber Run’s Alaska EP is a digital only release unveiled in full on September 22nd via Red Essential. The EP features two acoustic versions of ‘No Answers’ and ‘Fickle Games’ taken from their expansive sophomore album For A Moment, I Was Lost as well as two brand new covers. The title track of the release was their take on Maggie Roger’sAlaska’ and the song cycle is completed with their rendition of Jackie Wilson’s ‘(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher And Higher’.
