Glasgow’s Catholic Action return with their first new track of 2017, with their anthemic new cut ‘Doing Well’. The band also announce their signing to new independent label Modernsky, who will release their debut album later in 2017.

‘Doing Well’ was recorded and produced by Catholic Action singer/guitarist Chris McCrory and mixed by Tom Longworth (Vryll Society, Xam Volo) and is available to stream now on SoundCloud: [link]

Having created huge waves with their two 2016 singles ‘L.U.V.’ and ‘Rita Ora’, Catholic Action begin 2017 with this massive new single, which has already received love from BBC Radio 1, when the band performed a live session at Maida Vale studios on 30th January. The rising Scottish upstarts have received incredible support at BBC Introducing, who will be hosting the band at their showcase at this years SXSW.

Catholic Action are also set to head out on a full UK tour, beginning on Thursday 9th February at Think Tank, Newcastle. The tour includes a headline show at Sackler Space at the Roundhouse, London as part of Roundhouse Rising. Tickets for all shows are available now.

Fronted by Chris McCrory, already a leading light in Glasgow’s fervent music scene as a producer and former member of Casual Sex, Catholic Action have impressed tastemakers and audiences alike with their patented brand of post-punk and glam influenced pop. 2016 saw the band tipped by the likes of Annie Mac and Huw Stephens, landed them a spot at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, while picking up fans from the likes of NME, DIY and The Independent along the way.
