PEOPLE ON THE HIGH LINE
NEW SINGLE OUT 29 JULY
The Line Of Best Fit – “It’s Sly and the Family Stone relocated to Ibiza, produced by Giorgio Moroder”
The Quietus – “…Chic meeting Kraftwerk on a fruity dancefloor”
The Guardian – “a full-on, stabbing piano house track”
New Order have announced details of a brand new single, People On The High Line – the full remix bundle will be out on 29 July 2016, but today sees the launch of the Claptone Remix, available now.
The fourth single to be taken from Music Complete, POTHL features Elly Jackson (La Roux) on vocals, and promises to be the track that fuels many late night parties this summer. The single follows the unveiling of Complete Music, a reworked version of Music Complete, which includes new artwork from Peter Saville and extended mixes of all 11 tracks from the original album.
Accompanying the band’s new single is a remix by enigmatic mask-wearing artist Claptone. Having released his own full-length studio album Charmer in 2015, last summer his remix of Gregory Porter’s Liquid Spirit was Ibiza’s most Shazamed track, with nearly 3 million YouTube views and 7.5 million plays on Spotify.
Claptone’s remix of People On The High Line is available to now on Beatport and will be available on all other platforms from 6 July.
